The Australian Government’s announcement of 11 new Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinics includes a site in Blackall, delivered by True Relationships and Reproductive Health.
This follows the Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic Expression of Interest (EOI) conducted by the Western Queensland PHN (WQPHN) in August, which sought local providers to enhance access to primary-care–led women’s health services.
Service delivery in Blackall had already been established by True prior to the funding announcement. The new grant now enables the potential expansion of service delivery into additional communities across the Western Queensland region, subject to planning and capacity.
This national initiative aims to improve timely access to multidisciplinary care for endometriosis and pelvic pain, particularly in regional and rural areas.
