Western Queensland PHN works closely with local doctors, nurses, and health services to support and strengthen cancer screening in the community. Cancer screening can find cancers before any symptoms appear, often at an early and more treatable stage. Simple screening tests can detect early changes in the body that may lead to cancer, allowing action to be taken sooner. Early detection can save lives. That’s why regular screening is an important part of staying healthy and reducing your risk of cancer.
