Practice Incentive Program Quality Improvement (PIP QI)

Collection of information in preparation for PIP QI

WQ PHN will work with General Practices wishing to participate in the Practice Incentives Program Quality Improvement (PIP QI) that commenced on the 1st August 2019. To assist both practices and the WQPHN for this rollout, WQ PHN will be collecting some initial information.

Below is a link to the WQPHN information form which will capture your practice details. If your practice is already participating in PIP, we will also collect your PIP ID and the name by which your practice is known to the Department of Human Services (your PIP ID and practice name will appear on communications relating to PIP). The practice name should match the name that appears on these documents.

As a requirement of PIP QI, general practices will need to provide data (collected and submitted to WQPHN) against the ten key Improvement Measures representing key health priority areas.

To claim the PIP QI, practices will be required to:

  • Be registered for the PIP via PRODA in your HPOS system
  • Share the 10 Improvement Measures with WQPHN
