Level 1 - Mental Health Skills Training

Registrations are now open for the Level 1 - Mental Health Skills Training workshop presented by CheckUp in partnership with Western Queensland PHN and Northern Queensland PHN. These workshops are targeted towards GPs so that they can gain Level 1 Mental Health Skills Training accreditation but is relevant and open to all disciplines working with patients living with mental health issues within the WQPHN area.

The workshop program is designed to be practical and interactive and to build on participant's existing knowledge and skills. 

The program has been developed with a strong consumer and carer focus to enable participants to further develop their understanding of the perspectives of people who have lived experiences of mental illness and the carers and family who support them.

GP's who complete this training will be able to claim MBS Item numbers 2715 and 2717 for the presentation of General Practice Mental Health Treatment Plans (GPMHTPs).

• Session 1 - Monday 8 February 2021
• Session 2 - Tuesday 11 February 2021
• Session 3 - Monday 15 February 2021
• Session 4 - Tuesday 22 February 2021

TIME: 5:30pm - 7:30pm (AEST)

STYLE: Four by two-hour online eLearning Zoom workshops

By registering for the first event you will automatically register for the remaining 3 dates.
