Telehealth Collaboration and Coordination

The fourth in a series of five webinars hosted by the Australian Psychological Society and WQPHN will now be held on Wednesday 28 October, 2020.

A Panel of Health Professionals and Consumers from the Western Queensland Region will facilitate the session.

This webinar focuses on work relationships in a changing health care environment, and how telehealth technologies can enhance services for clients through the provision of a more client-centred and multi-disciplinary approach. 

Topics include understanding the impact of COVID-19 on different health professions and how they are responding to it (eg. Which services can and can’t be provided remotely), how this might impact on patients, communicating in a stressful environment, strategies for staying connected and maintaining constructive professional relationships, how to manage care coordination in the current environment and helpful organisational practices and systems.

The content of the Collaboration and Coordination webinar will provide Health providers with an understanding of:

• the impact of COVID-19 on different health professions and how they are responding to it

• how telehealth technologies can enhance services for clients through the provision of a more client-centred and multi-disciplinary approach

• how the changing health care environment might impact on patients

• how to manage care coordination in the current environment

Tips on registering for a webinar:

1. Click on ‘register’, for those who are an APS member, click login. 

2. When you register for an event for the first time, you need to click ‘register to create an account’ and at the end of the registration process,  you are then given a user id and password. It’s important to use that user id and password to register for any subsequent webinars in this series.

3. Click next and you will be taken to the payment screen, payment amount is $0. Check the terms and conditions box and click “Pay Now”

4. This will finalise your registration for the event. You will receive an email confirming your registration for the event (allow up to 2 hours)

* All registered participants will receive access to the recording and presenter handouts for six months, so be sure to register even if you cannot attend live
