WQPHN and Orygen Webinar Series
Young people presenting with mental health concerns?
Not sure what to do?
The WQPHN is partnering with Orygen to facilitate a series of Webinars targeted at GPs, Practice Nurses and WQPHN commissioned providers.
These webinars are aimed at upskilling Primary Health Clinicians and Commissioned Service Providers to assist with Early Intervention of Young People presenting with symptoms that may indicate that they are at risk of a severe and persistent Mental Illness.
Mark Goddard from the WQPHN will sit in on the webinars to ensure the local context is captured.
Dr Aswin Ratheesh is a consultant psychiatrist with clinical, research and academic roles at Orygen. At Orygen, he leads multi-disciplinary clinical care for young people with complex mood and psychotic disorders and heads the early psychosis clinical stream.
